Rumours, rumours and more rumours.
You can't have missed the story that had been doing the rounds that David Bowie was set to resurrect his Ziggy Stardust alter-ego and that he has been in talks with organisers of California’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival, who wanted him to perform his classic album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars in its entirety.
Most I'm sure would have seen the stories for what they were, pure fantasy.
The 62-year-old singer famously killed off his alter ego on stage in London in 1973, a year after the album’s original release.
Bowie has been in semi-retirement since his heart scare in 2004, which led to him cancelling his World Tour, however another rumour that crept up was that he may well be working on new material in Berlin, Germany, a comment was left under his name on the social networking site Twitter, a user named David Bowie wrote "Cheers from a snowy Berlin! Working on some new material.", there is one problem with this though, according to the official David Bowie site, David does not have a Twitter account, that and the fact that anyone could open an account using the name "David Bowie".
Bowie's last studio album was "Reality" that was released in 2003, however he did provide backing vocals on Scarlett Johansson’s album "Anywhere I lay My Head".
What will be the next big rumour, that "The Smiths" will reunite, oops sorry that one has already been rolled out more than a few times.
