Great news for those in the UK, dates for a-ha's eagerly awaited farewell tour have been announced and tickets will be on sale on Friday, 26th February.

The dates are :

NEWS : a-ha call it a day

a-ha have announced that they will be calling it a day as a band following a farewell tour in 2010.

2010 will mark the 25th anniversary of their debut album "Hunting High and Low" and their debut single "Take on me", they do point out that they will be retiring as a band not individuals so there will probably be some solo work from them in the future, still it is sad that a-ha will be no more :(.

NEW RELEASE : a-ha's next single

a-ha's next single release will be 'Nothing Is Keeping You Here', the single will be released in the UK on the 21st September.

The band have also confirmed their latest show will be on the 11th November at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels.

NEWS : a-ha World Tour

a-ha have hinted at the possibility of a world tour in 2010, the tour would see a return to Australia, Japan and America.

2010 will also mark the 25th Anniversary since a-ha's first No1 hit "Take On Me", there will be an re-issue of "Hunting High and Low" to coincide with the World Tour.

NEWS : a-ha new album release date change

German and Norwegian a-ha fans are in for a treat this month as a-ha's new album will be released a week early in Germany and Norway, the dates are :

Germany - 12th June
Norway - 15th June

The album will be available for download throughout Europe from 15th June.

Unfortunately the date for the UK release has been pushed back to the 20th July, the single will be available on the 13th July.

NEW RELEASE : New single from a-ha

Today sees the premiere of a-ha's new single "Foot of the Mountain", it will be released to Norwegian radio today , and you will be able to hear it on www.universalmusic.no from 4:15 PM Norwegian Time.

Their forthcoming album is due for release in June.
