Q Lazzarus

Did you know that Q Lazzarus' was in fact a female Afican-american singer, who's previous occupation before her singing talents were discovered was as a NY taxi driver. Although the band was active between 1988 and 1996 Q Lazzarus was only really known for THE one hit wonder "Goodbye Horses".

The song has been featured in various films which include Married to the Mob, The Clerks II, Lakai Footwear's Fully Flared, and Rockstar's videogame Grand Theft Auto IV, but I think many will remember it from the Buffalo Bill scene in "Silence of the Lambs".

Apart from Q, Mark Barrett and songwriter William Garvey, nothing is publicly known about the other band members.

Goodbye Horses

He told me,I see you rise
But, it always falls.
I see them come,
I see them go
He said, "All things pass into the night"
And I said, "Oh no sir I must say you´re wrong
I must disagree OH no sir I must say you're wrong.
"Won´t you listen to me
You told me ,I`ve seen it all before
I've Been there,
I`ve seen my hopes and dreams A lying on the ground
I've seen the sky, just begin to fall
he said ,”All things pass into the night"
And I said, "Oh no sir I must say you´re wrong
and I must disagree,
oh no sir,I must say you´re wrong
"Won`t you listen to me

Chorus
Good-bye horses I`m flying over you
Good-bye horses I`m flying over you
Good-bye horses I`m flying over you

Good-bye horses I'm flying flying flying over you.
(Repeat chorus)
