In the light of SOPA and PIPA and the general undemocratic nastiness of the music industry, in light of these heavy handed tactics, my view is more people should consider buying second hand cd's instead of new ones from major labels (I know some have to buy new in the first place - but it would limit the amount of money they screw out of people and maybe it may give them a moment to pause for thought) and certainly don't purchase mp3s (who in their right mind would spend £7 or more on a mp3 download of questionable quality, no physical product and is just an excuse for record companies to extort more money for less product)
