NEW RELEASE : Placebo's second single

PLACEBO will release their second single to be taken from their latest album "Battle for the Sun", entitled "The Never-Ending Why", the single will be released in the UK and Norway on the 14th of September, with others to follow. It will be available as a 7” Picture Disc, a 3 Track Digital Bundle, as a 4 Track iTunes bundle that includes the breathtaking new video of ‘The Never-Ending Why’ and as a fan-must-have ‘Live At The O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire 2009’ Digital Download Bundle.

NEW RELEASE : Next single from Placebo

The first single to be taken off their new album "Battle For The Sun" will be "For What It's Worth" and will be released on the 1st of June, however it will get its first worldwide radio plays on the 20th April (check your local stations), the UK will get its premiere on BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe show from 7.00PM (BST), downloads will be available on the 21st April.

The single includes a cover of Nik Kershaws "Wouldn't It Be Good".

NEWS : Placebo new album and first airing of title track

Placebo have announced the release date for their forthcoming album, "Battle For The Sun", the album will be released on a variety of formats and there will be a very special Deluxe Box Set. The first 500 copies of the Box Set will be signed by the band.

The title track will be exclusively aired first on Zane Lowes BBC Radio 1 show at around 7.00PM GMT, Tuesday 17th March. more information on Zane Lowes show can be found here.
